What are the transaction limits for the redirect service?

There is a transaction limit of £300 for credit cards and £1,000 for debit cards. If the fee for your application is over these limits you will not be able to use this service.

If you have selected to use this service but your fee is over the transaction limit you will need to scroll to the bottom of the Planning Portal Payment options page and choose “cancel payment process” and select the reason “I am going to pay the LPA directly”.

The LPA will then be notified that you are no longer using the redirect service to make a payment.

You will then need to contact your LPA directly to make a payment for the application. You can find the contact details for your LPA by using the find your LPA service.
