PDF forms for all current consent types

We appreciate that not everyone in every circumstance will always be able to apply online.

Therefore, as well as providing the online application service, we also support Local Authorities by providing blank PDF forms.

We would always recommend that you provide links to the forms on our site rather than downloading and hosting your own copies as this will ensure that your users are always provided with the latest versions.

Additionally, we maintain a change log for all our PDF forms that can be viewed on our Knowledge Hub group.

Planning applications

We provide forms with specific Local Authority branding for all our online planning consent types, these can be downloaded, printed and completed by hand.

This branding is based on a logo that your authority has provided. This can be updated at any point by raising a call with our support desk1.

Additionally, we provide an 'extended' set of forms for a range of contents that we plan to add to the online service going forward.

These can be downloaded and completed using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader3 applications on desktop and mobile devices; or printed and completed by hand.

You can access all of our PDF planning application forms via our 'Paper forms' section.

We also maintain a spreadsheet of links to all our forms4 that you can use to provide direct access from your own website. However, we would suggest that these are presented as a secondary option to the 'preferred' online application route.

All our forms are based on Government legislation and guidance so should facilitate submission of valid applications.

To support the forms, we maintain a 'standalone' planning application fee calculator5 as well as a PDF version of the fee schedule for planning applications6; these remove the need for anyone to have to try and work out fees from the original legislation and its numerous unconsolidated amendments.

Building Control

We provide forms based on our standardised question set for Building Control applications.

These can be downloaded, printed and completed by hand.

The forms can be accessed on the links below, and is available to any user who wishes to make a Building Control application to an local authority that is not currently enabled on our online building control service.

If you want to discuss enabling online Building Control applications for your authority, .
