How do I reset my building control password?

If you can’t remember your password, you can use the link underneath the sign in button in the building control application system¹ to reset it. The reset link reads ‘Click here if you have forgotten your password’.

Once you have clicked on the password reset link you will be sent a password reset email

Inside the email will be the ‘reset account’ link, click this to reset your password. If this doesn’t work you can manually copy and paste the URL into your browser.

A temporary password will then be sent to your email address.

Copy the temporary password

Paste it into the password field in the building control sign in page

You will then need to create a new password. Enter the temporary password into the password field

Then choose a new password. This must be at least 7 characters long and a combination of letters and numbers to be valid.

Click on the change details button once you are finished to confirm the changes.
