The Planning Inspectorate

Appeals are managed and determined by the Planning Inspectorate1. The Planning Inspectorate is an executive agency sponsored by the Department for Communities and Local Government2.

In addition to appeals, the Planning Inspectorate deals with national infrastructure planning applications, examinations of local plans and other planning-related and specialist casework in England and Wales.
