Nutrient Neutrality
Who does nutrient neutrality affect?
All new developments, or those with pre-commencement conditions, which occur on protected sites and see a net increase in population served by a wastewater system are subject to nutrient neutrality laws. Any development which comprises of overnight accommodation will be affected by the rules.
Some application types affected include:
- Full planning
- Householder
- Approval of reserved matters
- Prior approval
- Certificate of Lawfulness for proposed use or operation
