Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT)

CIAT is the lead international qualifying membership-based organisation for Architectural Technology. The Institute has over 10,000 members internationally. Chartered Architectural Technologists (MCIAT) are qualified to lead the technological design of projects and are able to manage inception, planning, design and contract management. CIAT are committed to promoting discipline within the Architectural Technology industry - all members must adhere to a code of conduct, which guarantees continual professionalism and competence.

Environment Agency (EA) is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs3. EA work to create better places for people and wildlife, and support sustainable development.

Federation of Master Builders (FMB)

FMB is a not-for-profit organisation which represents over 8,000 construction firms across the UK. FMB membership is an esteemed mark of professionalism within the building industry. All members are independently inspected and vetted against strict criteria on joining and are obliged to follow a rigorous code of conduct. Master Builders can offer a warranty and contract with every job. Working with Master Builders, clients should receive a competent, efficient and skilled service. Health and Safety Executive (HSE)

HSE is the independent regulator of work-related health and safety in Great Britain. Its mission is to prevent work-related death, injury and ill health. With origins dating back to the 1800s, HSE is a significant trusted body. It provides support to businesses and works closely with a range of partners to promote essential health and safety guidance for the workplace.

Local Authority Building Control (LABC) 

LABC represents all local authority building control teams in England and Wales. Their members work cooperatively with building owners, home owners, architects, plan drawers, developers, building contractors and other professionals to ensure buildings are safe, healthy and efficient to meet the standards set by the building regulations.

Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)

RTPI is the UK's leading planning body for spatial, sustainable and inclusive planning and is the largest planning institute in Europe with over 23,000 members. Their campaigning activity covers a wide range of issues, helping to raise the profile of the profession and generate awareness of the invaluable contribution planners make to building sustainable communities and helping to drive economic wealth.
